Space-Time Measurement Laboratory

I am fascinated by how ideas from interferometry, quantum optics, precision measurement, and control can be combined to push the limits of what can be measured. Starting from gravitational-wave detector experiments and the commissioning of the KAGRA interferometer, I have explored a range of applications based on these techniques.
My current research focuses on developing technologies for future space-based gravitational-wave observations in the deci-hertz band. Beyond gravitational-wave astronomy, I am also applying precision measurement and control techniques to the development of other space missions such as SOLAR-C.
